The Mondaine Official Swiss Railways Evo2 has been subtly refined for contemporary life. Its slightly rounded shape with an almost seamless transition to its case back has been ergonomically designed for ultimate comfort. The Evo2 features refined case lugs and a new functional crown. The scratch resistant sapphire crystal ensures the new model hosts the highest technical and aesthetic quality.

With its harmoniously designed case made of cracked IP rose gold stainless steel and a diameter of 40 mm, this Mondaine watch is a real eye-catcher and very comfortable to wear. The color-coordinated rose gold-colored hands are an elegant design element. The hardened mineral glass protects the iconic, gray-brushed dial. The brown leather strap rounds off the minimalist design of this watch.

It's time to move on. The evo2 comes from the Bauhaus design of the Classic and stands in the tradition of craftsmanship and puristic design. An evolution instead of a revolution. The difference is not only pleasing to the eye, but also to the wrist. Thanks to its rounded, organic shape and the seamless transition to the bottom of the case, the evo2 nestles particularly gently and is extremely comfortable to wear.

All Mondaine watches stand for Swiss quality and watchmaking tradition. They are handcrafted in our factory in Solothurn, Switzerland. Every watch is tested there for 30 meters of water resistance and is given an international guarantee of two years.

IP (Ion Plating) Gold Plating is one of the newest surface coating procedures and also the most advanced till date. It involves adding a titanium nitride layer to the base metal, in a vapor form. The end result is a harder and more durable surface which offers greater brightness and sheen than the traditional methods of plating.

In fact, experiments conducted to gauge the durability of ion plating have shown that IP plated surfaces are five to eight times more durable and resilient to corrosion and wear as compared to surfaces obtained through other plating processes.
